World Obesity Day is observed on 4th March annually to change perspectives on obesity, correct misconceptions, end stigmas, and raise awareness of different non-communicable conditions, which are described as excess body weight in the form of fat. It can cause serious health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, severe arthritis, and even certain cancers.
