A district-level study-cum-training camp was organized by the Youth Red Cross (YRC) Odisha State Branch at Raja Madhusudan Dev Degree College, Patia, from November 22 to 24, 2024. The event aimed to promote awareness and skills among youth volunteers, emphasizing service, safety, and sustainability. Perinatal asphyxia is an important preventable cause of neonatal mortality and morbidity, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is the most effective tool to reduce perinatal asphyxia. To develop hands on skill and attitude among students in basic neonatal procedure, Indian academy of pediatrics conducted a workshop for nursing students.
