Digitization of Indian education system is happening in an enormous momentum which is not just complying with NEP 2020 but also democratizing the power of knowledge irrespective of any social of geographical differences, thereby impacting the life and careers of crores of students nationally as well as globally.
KIIT Deemed to be University now being a global player in internationalization of education, is promoting development of online educational resources & MOOCs on various platforms like SWAYAM, CEC, AICTE etc. KINS is also striving hard for creation of such resources. On 19-12-2024 at 12 PM faculties of KINS organized a guest lecture talk series on Development of E- Resources on SWAYAM Portal. After the welcome note by our Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Niyati Das our guest speaker, Dr. Shikta Singh, Asso. Prof. KSOM delivered the talk on this pertinent topic with her vast array of experience & expertise to sensitize our faculties and motivate our faculties. She spoke in detail about the stages of development, pros & cons while developing such content with her anecdotal experiences of creating such resources on SWAYAM. She highlighted our faculties about the importance of indulging in such nation building activities to contribute in the branding & ranking of our university. On behalf our University Dr. Shikta also oriented the faculties of a digital platform being created by KIIT University called KIITEX and how we could contribute and get benefited for such opportunities. She has also assured our faculties to hand hold them and guide them at all stages from time to time for development of such resources.
