With the theme of "Designing Thoughts Nurturing Innovation" School level FDP started from 27th June followed by University level orientation on 26th june 2023. On Day 2(27th June’2023) session 1 was started with a talk by Prof.(Dr.) Niyati Das, Principal, Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences in conference room at 9.30 am. On 22nd June 2023, KINS arranged a meeting at 11am for have a elaborate discussion with the renowned expert on public health domain Dr. Bhuputra Panda, Director, School of Public Health, KIIT deemed to be University on “Research Proposal for Grant” with presence of all faculties of KINS at conference room. He highlighted on various research grant organizations, prerequisite criteria for getting fund in research and finally he ended the talk with some valuable suggestions to our institute.

On 2 nd June 2023 , KINS called a meeting for discussing briefly on this emerging issues of journal publication with presence of all faculties of KINS and MSc. Nursing students at conference room. Dr.Dillip Kumar Swain, Senior librarian, KIIT deemed to be University started the informative session on “Scholarly Communication in Nursing Research & Practice.”He focused on indexing, CINHAL, journal websites and impact factors,predatory Journal,how identify these types of journal. At the end of session, there was a good interaction with the speaker and audience.
