Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) arranged a two days’ skill training program on Pediatric Life Support (PLS) for BSc Nursing 6th semester and MSc Nursing 1st year and 2nd year Child Health Nursing specialty students from 28th April to 29th April, 10 am to 5 pm at KABEEL simulation and skill upgradation center, KIMS. KINS MSc Nursing 2nd year Child Health Nursing students participated in NEOCON 2025 on 21st September 2025 at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. This 12th Annual Conference of the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) Odisha State Branch was organized in collaboration with UNICEF, NHM Odisha and the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Odisha. The event followed a pre-conference workshop on Critical child health nursing care on 20th September held at seminar hall, Block E, KIMS. Throughout the conference, emphasis was placed on low-cost interventions, early respiratory management, antibiotic stewardship, RSV prophylaxis, neuroprotection in preterm infants and optimal nutrition for very-low-birth-weight babies. A National Integration camp was organized by Regional Director, of NSS Odisha in collaboration with Fakir Mohan. University, VyasaVihar, Balasore from 16th March 2024 to 22nd March 2024 at Padmabati Water Park, Balasore.
