A National Integration camp was organized by Regional Director, of NSS Odisha in collaboration with Fakir Mohan. University, VyasaVihar, Balasore from 16th March 2024 to 22nd March 2024 at Padmabati Water Park, Balasore. This National Integration Camp was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy, Vice Chancellor of FM University Balasore. Ms Sarita Patel, Regional director NSS joined as a Guest of honour Dr. Jagabandhu Mishra Ex professor of Shree Jagannath Veda Karma Kanda Mahavidyala, Puri, Mausam Kumar chairperson of Padmabati Water Park were also present during the Inauguration. The programme was co-ordinated by Dr Amulya Kumar Acharya & Dr Pratima Pradhan Professor, FM University Balasore. Mr.Debasis Pradhan as a NSS Programme Officer of KINS along with four NSS Student Volunteers from KINS, KIIT DU had got golden opportunity to participate in the seven-day National Integration Camp with 250 NSS volunteers from all over India. Every day different extension activities were performed by NSS Volunteers. Swach Bharat Avijan were done by NSS volunteers, they maintained the cleanness of Bus stand & Railway station of Balasore. A National Integration Rally was also held during the camp. The NSS Volunteers from KINS had shown their talents in National Integration Camp. Ms.Bibhusmita Singh Samanta from Bsc 5 th Semester student stood 2 nd position in ESSAY competition. Our students also performed Sambalpuri Dance and hosted the cultural programme. In the last day of camp the Regional Director of NSS felicited to 32 Programme Officer of 20 state all over India. & At the end Mr. Ajit Khushwha as a Youth Officer of NSS from Govt. of India delivered the Vote of thanks.
