Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), a constituent of KIIT-DU organized a seminar on “Various Styles of Writing Bibliography” on 6th March 2024 to refresh the knowledge of the students. The seminar commenced with an invocation seeking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by a keynote address by Prof. (Dr.) Niyati Das, Principal, KINS. Mrs. Sanjukta Dixit, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mental Health Nursing, KINS highlighted the overview of various styles of bibliography and, difference between bibliography and referencing. She emphasized on “APA Style of Writing Bibliography”. This was followed by another session on “Vancouver Style of Writing Bibliography” by Mrs. Purnima Sahoo, Asso. Professor, Dept. of Child Health Nursing, KINS. She also
emphasized general rules and format of writing references by citing various examples. At the end vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Reena Singh, Asso. Professor, Dept. of Mental Health Nursing, KINS. The informative session was attended by 33 MSc. Nursing students and 30 faculty members of KINS.
