3rd International Virtual Conference on “Partnership And Collaborative Work In Managing Addictive Behavioural Disorders And Substance Use Disorders‘’ organized by LGBRIMH Tezpur, Assam, in Collaboration With Arizona Indian Nurses Association, Arizona, USA and ABD & SUD-CARE Group, India on November 7th – 8th 2024.

The Executive Chairperson Conference were :  MS.Lakshmi Nair (AZINA-USA) & Dr. Sandhya Gupta , Health Consultant, Former Principal AIIMS New Delhi and 20 speakers globally were connected. In the Conference session, TRACK A & TRACK B Debate competiton was held on 7th of November, 2024 for all the nursing students from all over India & Abroad, where the buddying debators spoke on “Working in team for Behavioural Addiction Disorders and Substance Use Disorders is important and effective”(against the motion) AND “Working alone (single therapist) for Behavioural Addiction Disorders and Substance Use Disorders is important and effective”(for the motion) respectively. In which, there were around 15 participants from various colleges all over the world and Miss Apurba Acherjee,  B.Sc Nursing Intern, Kalinga Institute Of Nursing Sciences, participated and bagged the 3rd prize by speaking for the motion. On 8th Nov, Symposium was conducted followed by Oral & Poster Scientific Paper Presentation. There were around 25 participants who had participated from various institutions for the Paper Presentation and Mrs. Soumya Sonalika, Associate Professor, Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University got the award for the Best Presenter on topic “Knowledge Vs. Practice in Community Mental Health Nursing: Insights from Nursing officers and CHOs, Odisha”. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to both of them for their remarkable performance. It’s a moment of immense pride for KINS.
