A guest lecture was successfully organized by the Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), KIIT Deemed to be University, on 9th February 2026 at LT-2, KINS, Campus-5, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Niyati Das, Principal, KINS, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, who highlighted the significance of outcome-oriented research and quality publications in strengthening academic excellence and evidence-based nursing practice. The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Hrudaya Ku. Tripathy, Professor, School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, on the topic “Outcome- Oriented Research Methodology for Quality Publication.” The session focused on enhancing the research competencies of faculty members, postgraduate, and doctoral nursing students by emphasizing outcome-driven research planning, methodological rigor, ethical considerations, and strategies for publishing in high-impact indexed journals. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Debajani Sahoo, Assistant Professor, KINS, who expressed sincere gratitude to the resource person, institutional authorities, organizing team, and participants for their active involvement and support. Overall, the guest lecture significantly contributed to fostering a robust research culture and promoting academic excellence within the institution.
