The School of Nursing, DRIEMS University, Cuttack, Odisha organized an International Conference on the theme “The Evolving Landscape of Research Design, Ethics, Data and Digitalization” on 21st & 22nd January 2026. Dr. Prathima Prakasam, Dean, SON DRIEMS University had invited three of our faculties from KINS to attend the conference in various capacities. Dr. V. Sivasankari, Asso. Prof. Dept. of MHN, KINS, KIIT-DU was invited as scientific paper evaluator. Mr. Chandan Pradhan, Asso. Prof. Dept. of MSN, KINS, KIIT-DU was invited to chair/moderate a plenary session on “Next Generation Tool, for Data Harvesting” and Mrs. Rojalin Dash Asst. Prof. Dept. of OBG, KINS, KIIT-DU was invited to chair/moderate a plenary session on “Safeguarding Humanity in AI-Infused Landscape”.
The conference witnessed an overwhelming participation of around 850 delegates from national & international locations including Oman and Saudi Arabia (Riyadh and Muscat), along with participants from 20 states across India. More than 100 abstract papers were presented, with eminent national and international resource persons sharing their expertise. The two-day conference concluded successfully, enriching participants with in-depth knowledge on contemporary research practices, and was accredited with 2 credit points and 10 CNE hours by INC and ONMRC. The Conference was very well planned and executed by Dr. Prathima Prakasam, Dean SON, Prof. N. Premila Devi, Asso. Dean SON & faculties of SON DRIEMS University. Warm and welcoming hospitality of DRIEMS University was visible in all delegates, invited guests and speakers during the event.
