Global Digital Health Summit was organized by Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Chairman Academy of Digital Health Sciences in collaboration with National Health Authority, Ministry of Ayush, Electronics & Information Technology, ICMR, Global Initiative on Digital Health, Govt. of Maharashtra, Indian Nursing Council & Indian Medical Association from 19th to 21st September 2025 at the landmark venue of Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. More than 35 countries participated along with global health scientists, inventors, policy-makers, regulators, and leaders to collaborate. Themes of the event were subdivided into Re imagining Healthcare from the Grounds-up, Tech-driven Transformation Across the Ecosystem and Scaling Innovations That Matter. Globally reputed institutions like World Health Organization, John Hopkins, Harvard & Mayo Clinic were the academic partners. Journal partners were Springer, Nature, Elsevier, Google Health and Wolters Kluwer.
From Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar Prof. (Dr.) Niyati Das, Principal KINS along with Prof. (Dr.) Anasuya Pattanayak and four Associate Professors namely, Dr. Soumya Sonalika, Mrs. Reena Singh, Mrs. Nibedita Mohanty and Mr. Chandan Pradhan participated. They took pride in representing Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, deemed to be University by speaking about the excellent academic, research & entrepreneurial works along with the milestones in sports achieved by the University under the mentorship of Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta. They participated in the workshops on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and created their chatbots for the academic & clinical usage. A total of 45 sessions on key aspects pertaining to technologies in healthcare industries were held with discussions and deliberations during the course of 3 days. 55 stalls related to latest inventions in health care technology were on display as well in which our faculties participated whole heartedly. They also had the privilege of interacting and networking with global changemakers, CEOs of hospital & educational institutions and health tech inventors from multiple disciplines.
Our faculties had the privilege of one to-one meeting and communicating with Dr. T. Dileep Kumar – President, Indian Nursing Council (INC); Board Member, ICN (SEARO); Ex- Nursing Adviser, Govt of India as well as Dr. Jose Luis Cobos Serrano – President, ICN- International Council of Nurses. All the EC members of the Indian Nursing Council and Maharashtra Nursing Council were also present with whom our faculty delegates interacted & promoted about the best practices of our institutions.
Overall, it was a satisfying and enriching experience for our faculties where they got opportunity to connect and explored avenues to collaborate with these high-profile associates. They expressed their gratitude to the GDHS-2025 organizers and the Jio World Convention venue host partners about their excellent hospitality during the entire event.
